TMZ reported that emergency responders were called to his Clearwater, Florida home on July 24 after Hogan suffered cardiac a**est.

He was transported to the hospital on a stretcher. Just weeks earlier, Hogan had undergone heart surgery, which was reported to be serious but not life-thr**tening. His last public appearance was on July 2, promoting his upcoming New York sports bar, Hulk Hogan’s Slam Sports Bar.

Born Terry Bollea, Hogan became a cultural icon in the 1980s, playing a key role in bringing professional wrestling into the mainstream. His charisma, catchphrases, and larger-than-life persona helped make WWE a global phenomenon. WWE issued a statement expressing deep sorrow, calling Hogan “one of pop culture’s most recognizable figures.”
