Trump Praised By Clinton, Schumer A

Former President Donald Trump is earning rare bipartisan praise after helping secure a peace deal between Israel and Hamas, ending two years of conflict.

The agreement, reached with help from Qatar and regional partners, includes the release of all 20 remaining Israeli hostages and more than 1,900 Palestinian prisoners.

Bill Clinton said Trump and his team “deserve great credit” for staying committed to negotiations, calling the ceasefire a chance to turn a “fragile moment” into lasting peace.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer also applauded the progress, calling the hostages’ return “a wonderful day.”

Trump urged Israeli leaders to choose diplomacy over continued fighting and described the deal as an important step toward stability.

Other Democratic figures, including Hakeem Jeffries and Barack Obama, supported the ceasefire and humanitarian improvements, even without directly crediting Trump.

Asked about the future, Trump said the ceasefire’s durability is uncertain but promised ongoing support for peace efforts.
