WOMAN GOES TO

Kaylee’s daughter, Amanda, had been missing for two weeks. Despite tireless efforts by both Kaylee and the police, there were no leads—until Kaylee spotted Amanda’s jacket at a neighbor’s garage sale.

Shocked, Kaylee asked her neighbor Angela where she got it. Angela said she’d bought it from a second-hand store near the bus station. Desperate, Kaylee rushed to the store, where the seller vaguely recalled a girl matching Amanda’s description trying to buy a bus ticket.

Inside the jacket pocket, Kaylee found a note with an address in Amanda’s biological mother’s town. She drove there and learned Amanda had stopped by but moved on.

Heartbroken, Kaylee went to the local police station—and spotted Amanda sitting on the porch of an abandoned house. They embraced, exchanged apologies, and headed home together, finally reunited.
