Jamie Lee Curtis makes honest Charlie Kirk remark after ‘disagreeing with him on everything’

The incident occurred on September 10 during a public event in Utah, where Kirk, 31, lost his life. The FBI has confirmed that the investigation into the shooting is still ongoing.

Curtis expressed sympathy for Kirk’s family and acknowledged the emotional impact of such violence. Although she noted strong political differences with Kirk, she emphasized his humanity. Curtis described him as a “man of faith” and hoped that, in his final moments, he felt spiritually connected. She stressed that despite opposing his views, she still saw him as a father, husband, and person worthy of compassion.

During the interview, Curtis accidentally referred to Kirk by the wrong name—Charlie Crist—explaining it as a genuine mistake. She returned to the topic later, stating that the incident had weighed heavily on her and prompted deep reflection about the effects of repeated exposure to violent imagery in modern society.

Drawing parallels to other traumatic events, Curtis pointed out how society is continuously exposed to graphic media, such as footage from national tragedies. She questioned the psychological toll of repeatedly seeing violent incidents online and emphasized the importance of being mindful of this exposure.

Other public figures also responded to Kirk’s death. Actor Chris Pratt, former Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, and influencer Jake Paul were among those who publicly expressed condolences. Former Presidents Joe Biden and Barack Obama released statements condemning the violence, with Biden calling for an end to such attacks.

Tyler Robinson, 22, has been identified as the primary suspect in the case and was taken into custody shortly after the incident. Authorities continue to investigate the motive and broader implications surrounding the event.
