Jimmy Kimmel has been suspended indefinitely by ABC after making divisive comments about the assassination of Charlie Kirk. The host suggested the killer was a conservative, despite investigators confirming he held far-left views.
The controversy drew criticism from FCC chief Brendan Carr and led ABC and affiliate Nexstar to pull the show immediately. Kimmel’s remarks during his monologue were deemed “offensive and insensitive” in the wake of Kirk’s fatal shooting.
