Trump fires back at Jimmy Kimmel and ABC, calling them “fake news” after the host criticized him

Trump and Kimmel Clash Again: Thanksgiving Plans Clearly Off
It seems Donald Trump and Jimmy Kimmel won’t be inviting each other to Thanksgiving anytime soon. The two continue to exchange public blows, escalating their long-standing feud.

Kimmel Sparks Controversy
In September, Kimmel landed in hot water for controversial remarks about the late Charlie Kirk. He criticized how Trump appeared to mourn Kirk’s death while diverting attention to his White House renovation.

“We hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them, and doing everything they can to score political points from it,” Kimmel said.

Kimmel’s comments led to a temporary suspension of his show—a move Trump applauded. Nationwide backlash soon followed, and ABC reinstated the program.

Kimmel Keeps Poking Fun
While some may have toned down criticism after the suspension, Kimmel didn’t. He continued to mock Trump, including over the president missing out on the Nobel Peace Prize he believed he deserved.

Recently, Kimmel commented on Trump referring to a female reporter as “piggy.” He said:

“He called her piggy. He said ‘Quiet, piggy’ to a reporter and it barely made the news. If a man spoke like that to a female coworker in a workplace harassment training video, you’d go, ‘Ah, that’s over the top. Nobody would do that.’”

Kimmel added that Trump is now “not a happy little meal” in response to his remarks.

Trump Fires Back
On November 20, Trump took to Truth Social and raged:

“Why does ABC Fake News keep Jimmy Kimmel, a man with NO TALENT and VERY POOR TELEVISION RATINGS, on the air? Why do the TV Syndicates put up with it? Also, totally biased coverage. Get the bum off the air!!!”

Despite Trump’s criticism, ABC is unlikely to remove Kimmel after the massive backlash from his previous suspension.

White House Responds
Trump has not publicly addressed the “piggy” incident. However, a White House official told People:

“This reporter behaved in an inappropriate and unprofessional way towards her colleagues on the plane. If you’re going to give it, you have to be able to take it.”

The feud between Trump and Kimmel shows no signs of slowing down, keeping late-night viewers and political watchers entertained alike.
